a. Can sink 10 mA and source 10 mA.
b. The default is activated by connecting pin 8 to ground pin 4.
c. Chassis ground: Used to connect chassis body to earth ground only. Not to be used as power or signal return.
Optoisolator Outputs
Optoisolator circuits can transfer pulses between the imager and peripherals with no direct
connection with the imager’s internal circuitry. However, not every optoisolator configuration
provides complete isolation. The following diagrams show both fully optoisolated and
non-optoisolated circuits. They are only examples and do not represent all the possible
wiring configurations.
